Radio Teemaneng is a community radio station based Kimberley in the Sol Plaatje Municipal area in the Northern Cape province of South Africa which started service in 1994. The radio station is an initiative of the Training, Education, Research and Resource Centre with a goal of providing a communication medium for the people of the then Cape Province giving an alternative voice to the oppressed majority; At that time, radio, television and the print media were under the control of the apartheid government.
